Brisbane Dutchfest 28th April 2013 – Save the date!

In Brisbane? Save the date on Sunday 28th April for the annual DutchFest 2013! Formerly called Aprilfest, this is a fantasic annual event that brings the dutch community together in Brisbane for a fun day of food, drink, sing-alongs, traditional Dutch fare and live entertainment.Held at the Prins Willem Alexander Retirement Village in Birkdale, Brisbane, proceeds raised go towards extra facilities for the elderly residents at this location.

Unfortunately I won’t personally be at the event this year as I’m now living in The Netherlands! However I’ve had a wonderful time in previous years and you can see some of my photos here:

  You are most welcome, every year it gets bigger and better and I’m sad I won’t be there to join in the celebrations this year…but I will be celebrating spring in NL then, just have to get through the winter first….
