Coming up to four years ago, we moved from Brisbane to The Hague.
There is a LOT to do with children in The Hague, and I’ve started keeping a list for myself of ideas of things to do, and to keep track of what we’ve done. I thought I’d share this for anyone else who may like some ideas.
Things we’ve done (and will probably do again!):
Museon
Gemeente Museum
Sick Longboards: my 8-year-old daughter’s class won an afternoon outing here. She’d never even seen a longboard before, let alone tried it, but she loved it! Apparently they have free sessions weekly in a great indoor space out the back of their shop/warehouse.
Things we’d like to try:
Escher: I’ve been to this great museum several times now, but would like to take the kids. I think they need to be a little older to appreciate it.
Kooman’s Poppentheater: weekly puppet theatre in The Hague (only in Dutch). They are a family business that has operated for more than 55 years in The Hague! They also do birthday parties.
The Little Gym: gymnastic-based program for children 10 months to 12 years old. Free introductory visit. Voorburg. On site parking. 7 days a week. Also do birthday parties.
SeaLife Scheveningen: underwater fun
