Celebrated as one of the world’s most popular sopranos, Mirusia boasts a remarkable 17 year global touring career. Hailing from Brisbane, with Dutch heritage, she achieved operatic excellence at Griffith University’s Queensland Conservatorium and made history winning the prestigious Dame Joan Sutherland Opera Award at just 21.

Her post-graduation journey led to over a decade of international
touring as the star soprano alongside André Rieu and the Johann
Strauss Orchestra in his concert spectaculars.

Recognised by ARIA in 2023 as Australia’s #1 Classical Crossover
artist, her albums have consistently topped the ARIA and AIR charts
in Australia, earning numerous #1 rankings.

Mirusia returns to her classical roots with her new recording
‘Classique’ which is her first album of classical operatic arias and
classical songs. These arias and songs are in Mirusia’s DNA as she
demonstrates her ability to perform this superb repertoire.
