When we lived in Australia, I was a big fan of the Abbey Medieval Festival. I volunteered there for a couple of years. Surely there’s a Medieval Festival in The Netherlands I had thought? As we’ve been so busy in the last year with settling into life here, I hadn’t really looked into it further but recently discovered that the Ridderspektakel is held annually in three locations in The Netherlands – Dordrecht, Paterswolde and Amsterdam.
So yesterday, we thoroughly enjoyed spending a few hours at the Ridderspektakel Medieval Festival Amsterdam (The Netherlands). Here are a few of my favourite photos (with lots more to come!). Renee
